Pet health insurance works a lot like your health insurance does. Coverage is available for accidents and illness with the option of adding preventive care coverage at an additional cost. You can choose from a range of different annual limits, deductibles, and reimbursement percentages. You have the freedom to choose any veterinarian, specialist or emergency clinic.

There is no waiting period for Preventive Care and Accident coverage, with the exception of ligament and knee conditions. These conditions as well as sickness coverage has a 14-day waiting period.

You have a choice of annual coverage limit options including $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, or $15,000. You also have a choice of annual deductible options of $100, $250, or $500. And you can choose reimbursement percentage options of 70%, 80%, or 90% of eligible charges.

Discounts are available for multiple pets on the policy, and you can add Preventive Care coverage to your policy for dental cleanings, wellness exams, heartworm tests, DHLPP vaccines, and more.
